Tongue Twister

Fellow toastmasters,

Tongue Twisters was our theme last night and it was amazing how so many were able to repeat and make a coherent table topic speech.  Brian, our topic master was so natural which helped to calm the nerves with his thoughtfully presented questions.  Michael followed with his observations on our strengths and “need for improvements”.……nice job!

We had 3 speakers following a nice intermission.  James (Sam videotaping a how to give a presentation speech)), Michelle (her experience in the Miss Chinatown Pageant), and Juju (Club Leadership Manual).  All three speakers had to deal with some uncertainty and technical problems, but they handled it like true Toastmasters. 

Thanks to Toastmaster of the night Florence and General Evaluator Alex.  A Special thank you to Daniel for providing us with healthy refreshments.

Cruise

Good Day Fellow Toastmasters,

What a fun meeting last night.  With “Cruise” as our theme, we had fun recalling and speculating about our memories and dreams with this timely Table Topic.

Florence handed out the questions that were diverse and thoughtful. 

We had the pleasure of having 2 speakers, Brian (hunters and farmers) and Alex (take a hike) that were entertaining manual speeches. 

The evaluators who included, Dee, Migo and Charles did a great job in giving their thoughts on the “good, the bad, and the ugly”.  Juju wrapped it up by giving us her thoughts on how we could improve our future meetings.

We had the pleasure of 3 guests, George, Sergio and Kelly.  Kelly is a visiting toastmaster from China and gave us an interesting look into her romantic city.

Fellow Toastmasters,

Thanks to all who were at the meeting last night…….why’s that? 
Could have stayed home to watch the NCAA finals, why else.

We had a nice turnout for our first meeting of April. 
Our Toastmaster Sindy, ran a smooth program with Daniel 
who volunteered  as general evaluator.

Daniella did a really nice job with a difficult theme “Bilingual”, 
using quotes to help us through table topics.  Juju was our topic evaluator
and pointed out

helpful ideas for us all.

Three entertaining and insightful speeches from Jeffrey (ice breaker), 
Migo (the art of bubbles), and Garvin (gratitude and happiness). 
The three evaluators, Florence, Alex and Dee

were articulate and sincere with their praise and recommendations.

Let us not forget our abundance of refreshments, provided by Migo
and his wife Lisa.

Brian won the best table topic speaker award on 4/6/15. Like father like son, Branden is an excellent listener, he gave very good responds at very proper moment. What a baby!

It is so nice to have family members participate in the meeting. Doesn't matter you are 15 minutes late or longer, we still love to see you and have fun with our most welcome members and guests.
