“News”

Fellow Toastmasters,

Our 07/27 meeting “News” saw a small but fun group of Toastmasters attend the meeting.

Our Toastmaster last night Brian ran a very effective meeting. Sindy our TT master asked speakers great questions in dealing with news, news media, & new preferences. Byron evaluated our Table Topic speakers with his trademark, smooth delivery.

Byron and Daniela both stepped in to provide refreshments, we really appreciate it! Let's try to get some different members assisting with this role going forward.

Daniela gave a very entertaining speech about her time on the slopes & I ranted about the evils of television lol. Both Ernestina and Miguel offered both speakers very helpful advice.

Although there weren't many of us last night, the group was enthusiastic about being there. Thank you Luis and Sergio for performing 1st time roles.

Our 07/20 meeting “summer vacation” started on time, good thing because we had over 20 fellow Toastmasters and several guests attend yesterday.

Our Toastmaster Daniela kept the meeting running smoothly throughout. Larry our TT master asked questions that made us take a trip down memory lane with Dee stepping evaluating all those cherished memories.

Refreshments were provided by Byron and Garvin, thank you both!

Joan and Juju gave very entertaining speeches with Daniel and Florence evaluating said speeches.

With summer in full swing, what better place to spend a nice evening than with your fellow Toastmasters? This was truly one of the liveliest meetings we’ve had in a while, so don’t miss out on the fun and try your best to attend.

Independence

Fellow Toastmasters,

With the July 4^th holiday approaching our theme of “independence” 

was so apprapro . Michelle “our fearless leader” led the way as 

Toastmaster of the evening and with her energetic personality kept 

the evening fun.  Juju, back from a month long vacation, stepped up 

as our impromptu Topic Master and did a super job of asking off the 

cuff questions.  We had 3 speakers in the second half, Alex (first time 

driving)…..too funny, George (ice breaker)……women’s roller derby 

ref…really?, and Fabian (history of language).  Evaluators; Garvin, 

Daniella and Charles all had on point comments in their evaluations. 

We will have a meeting on July 6^th , so check your email for the 

agenda from Juju.
