What a night!  There was so much energy in the house that we didn’t need to turn on the heat.

 

Our Toastmaster for the evening was August, who volunteered to take the reins and boy did he do a great job as a first timer. 

Miguel was equally up to the task as our Table Topic Master with the theme “Giving Thanks”.  Great questions and great answers from our members.  We had 3 winners, Sindy, Danella, and Migo, but I think Florence should receive an honorable mention for the best Oscar acceptance speech.

 

Terry’s Speech was special in reminding us what’s truly important in life.

 

Please join us again next week as we will be presenting our new members with their Toastmaster pins.

We had a potent and fun meeting last night. That is Michael did a great opening with the quote from Dale Carnegie and introduce his book "How to Win Friends & Influence People ". Then Paul delivered a great joke and August led a potent table topic questions of "persuasion".  We also appreciated the 3 strong, energetic speeches and evaluations. 

Thank you for members performed outstanding meeting roles and brought us lots memorable thoughts, laughs ad excitements to meeting!

Fellow Toastmasters,

 

Great to see everyone looking their best last night for our Halloween program……thanks to Juju.  It was especially nice, since we had the pleasure of having Angelica whom we haven’t seen in a while, as host of our table topic theme “Charitable Giving”.   She did a great job in asking thoughtful questions and laying out the charitable giving landscape. 

 

Paul and Deanna gave their “Ice Breaker” speeches while Larry gave us some wonderful information on the Lions and their efforts in giving the gift of sight.

 

All in all, it was a proud night to be a Valley Speaker Toastmaster.
